Protectakote non slip paint

As you will be able to see from other pages on our website, we are International and Rylard stockists, what Protectakote offers is a unique anti-slip product. It is a polyurethane paint which incorporates rubber granules to give a heavily textured non / anti-slip finish.

The rubber granules offer a far more textured surface than other non-slip products, but with the advantage that the rubber granules are flexible and so should not pierce primed or painted surfaces which could lead to poor adhesion and rust bubbles (on a steel surface).

Being a polyurethane paint it is very flexible (for a paint) and so will stay stuck to surfaces that flex or bend (to an extent). This makes it particularly suitable for GRP cruisers or deck hatches that tend to deform under a heavy load or weight.
It can easily be applied to almost any surface including metal, wood, fibreglass or plastic. It can also be applied on top of most other paint brands, so re-painting or overcoating your deck should be easy and quick (please read appropriate literature or the back of the tin)

How much will i need?

How much will I need?

One Litre will cover 1.2 - 1.6 square metres for normal applications
One Litre will cover 0.6 - 1.0 square metres for high wear applications
If we do not have sufficient stock of the colour or tin size you are after we will happily get it in for you.

Some of the range of products are UVR rated, whilst the standard range has good resistance properties regarding loss of gloss and mild fading UVR products have enhanced resistance.
