Flover are a relativley new name on the UK trolling motor scene, but dont let that put you off, there are many reasons to by one when compared to the more familiar names on the market

Price - Flover electric outboards are alot cheaper than comparible models from other manufacturers.
They are the most efficient in their class (they go further, faster on less power)
Electric outboards mean less noise, less environmental impact, a great price and light weight!
Alot of the features you will find on these motors are exceptional for the size of motor and price, for example a battery monitor.

Technical information

To use these outboards you will need a deep cycle leisure battery, dont worry these arent vert expensive, technical or difficult to get hold of. Without getting too technical the basic difference between those and a normal battery are that they can be fully discharged without being damaged (but they should be recharged as soon as possible not left flat). Just remember that you will need a battery charger to do that!.

For the smaller outboards in the range you could get away with an 85 a/hr battery, however for the larger ones you will need atleat 110 a/hr. If you want advice or help on how long a battery would last and which would be most suitable for you, please feel free to give us a call on 01353 663095.
