Eberspacher Hydronic FAQ

How do I know if I need a D4, D5 or D10?

The big thing to remember when specifying a heater is that it will want to cycle right through its power output (from low to high and vice-versa) rather than be running flat out or on tick over all the time. The key to achieving that aim is:

a)      Specify approximately the right size heater for your application (please call us to ask)

b)      Connect the Eberspacher Hydronic up to the correct capacity of radiators to allow it to function as the manufacturer intended. A good guide is that a 5kw heater will want atleast 5kw of radiators through which to lose heat.

Specifying the correct heater for the job is not as complex as it sounds, drop us an email or give us a call and we will happily talk you through it.

Each of the Hydronics will have their own power and fuel usage specifrications, these should be clearly detailed on the product description on our website. If you are still unsure or it isn’t clear then feel free to give us a ring and we will be happy to deal with your enquiry.

Will it need servicing?

Yes, any complex diesel heating product needs servicing in order to clean out the build up of soot and carbon, and to replace all relevant filters and consumables. You should allow for your heater to be serviced annually or at-least bi-annually.
